Fall Clothing Wishlist

Like it or not, it’s almost fall. August is nearing the tail end of the heat and humidity and the crisp fall air in approaching at the end of September. With that being said, I thought I’d get a jump start on sharing some cute fall clothing pieces that I have my eyes on.

A big trend I’m into for fall is corduroy. I got a little taste of it late spring this year and I’m feeling it again for the upcoming fall season. I think it’s the best texture for the fall, honestly. It’s cozy, keeps you warm and it looks great in all the beautiful fall colors. Below are a few of the corduroy pieces I’ve got sitting in my shopping cart.

American Eagle: Corduroy Mom Jean

Of course, I’m also looking forward to throwing on my coziest sweaters. I’ve mentioned before that I’m on the hunt for cardigans that are short enough to be worn as a top but still comfy and slouchy and it looks like Nordstrom has exactly what I’m looking for. Here’s a few cute sweaters that I’ve got my eye on!

Nordstrom: Halogen Ribbed V-Neck Cardigan (I shared this one during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and it’s still available!)

Now that I’ve just started a new job, I’m also on the hunt for some pretty blouses to wear to work too. I like to have tops that are versatile, that I can wear to work during the week with trousers and also on the weekend with jeans for a night out. I don’t like to dress TOO sexy, so usually pretty printed or ruffled blouses are what work best for me for both occasions. Below I’m linking a few that I think would be perfect for both work and a night out!

Nordstrom: Astr The Label Stevie Peplum Top (this one is sold out in my size but wanted to share anyway cause it’s so dang cute and I’m LOVING this brand!)

Something else I’m looking forward to is DENIM. All the denim. I LOVE DENIM. It’s my favorite clothing piece to wear, although not always appropriate. I’m still obsessed with a looser, mom style jean but I also love really big baggy boyfriend jeans (unclear if I can pull them off so stay tuned). And of course, can’t forget the denim jackets. A denim jacket is the perfect fall layer to go over a sweater when it’s just starting to get chilly out!

Nordstrom: Madewell The Momjean Ripped High Waist Stretch Jeans (LOVE the color of these and the minimal distressing, and can’t complain about the price tag at 25% off!)

Let me know in the comments below what you’re looking forward to this fall!

High End Summer Fashion Wish List

This summer, I’ve been dreaming about some very beautiful and very high priced fashion items. However, I’ve got Saks dreams on a Forever 21 budget. The likelihood that I’ll buy these any time soon is slim to none, but I figured I’d share a few of the items that are on my wish list. If anyone has any occasions to help me justify these purchases, please let me know. Thanks.

House of Harlow 1960 x Revolve

Nicole Richie’s brand, House of Harlow 1960, is one of my favorite brands actually. She makes great quality, on trend pieces that satisfy my need for beautiful color and it’s not so far out of budget (especially when they go on sale!!). Below are a few of my wish list items from House of Harlow 1960:

Shopbop

Shopbop is one of my favorite sites to look at all the beautiful designer pieces and get inspiration so that I can go and find dupes or less expensive alternatives. I get almost all my style inspiration from very high end fashion, so shops like this one always give me the best ideas. Shopbop is great because they carry very high end brands such as Alexandre Birman, Zimmerman, and LOVESHACKFANCY and also lower end brands such as Levi’s, Madewell, and Free People, so it’s not completely unattainable. Here are some of my wish list picks from Shopbop:

FWRD by Elyse Walker

This is my favorite shop for ogling at all the beautiful high end designer items that I can never justify buying. This is one of my favorite shops for your standard designer pieces, such as Gucci, Chloe and Saint Laurent. It’s also a partner of Revolve, which means that the quality of service will always be top notch and they offer FREE 2 Day Shipping. Here are some of my FWRD by Elyse Walker wish list picks:

Fall Wishlist

I don’t know about you, but I am totally over summer. I’m ready for some cozy sweaters, boots and that fresh chilly fall air. I want to go apple picking and drink cider and carve pumpkins. I’m seriously so ready. Fall is usually my favorite time of year, especially for fashion. Plus I love layering and being comfortable while also looking presentable soooooo…I thought I would share a few items that I have my eye on for this upcoming fall!

I’m really loving the color orange for this fall with pretty, warm browns as you’ll notice. I also am LOVING all kinds of boots, I can’t even handle it. Boots are my absolute favorite kind of shoe and I always go a little bit overheard on them HA!

I’ve been SCOURING the earth for a slim fitting chestnut brown over the knee heeled boot and so far no luck. These are the only ones and as of right now, they’re sold out 😦 but I trust they’ll be back in stock ASAP.

I have never really been interested in knee high boots but the slouchy fit of these is calling my name this year.

I want these little mules in all three colors because they are so stinkin’ cute!

I love a good Chanel inspired anything and these heels are doing it for me. Plus they would be great for work!

Everyone needs a classic black ankle boot and mine are definitely coming to the end of their days, so I’m looking at these babies for my next pair!

TBH these remind me of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots that I used to wear out to the bar during college, but the classier more mature version and I am HERE FOR IT.

I think these are absolutely STUNNING for work and also date night (if I ever go on one of those) or even out with the girls. Very sophisticated and super versatile! I want these in all 4 colors ( which is excessive, I know).

I love a good sweater dress with over the knee boots and a simple gray one like this would be great for work or a casual weekend.

I prefer light wash jeans all year round honestly, but I especially love these for the flattering cut and the simple slits throughout the leg. I’ve had my eye on these for a few months actually!

I mean honestly. Just look at them.

I love this as a less expensive alternative to the Acne brand coat from last year and it comes in all black too.

What was I saying about being comfy and presentable? Oh right…

When I can justify spending $6,500 on a purse, this will absolutely be mine.

Urban Outfitters has the coziest sweaters ever and this one lives up to it’s reputation. I got this baby in the orange and the cream/white color.

Please refer to what I said above about Urban having the coziest sweaters…
