I recently decided that I am going to be the kind of person that wears blazers all the time. Ever since doing the research for my French girl outfits, I’ve just fallen in love with the look of an oversize blazer. I think it’s such an easy way to look a little bit more put together and structured. Because of that, I ordered an oversize blazer from Everlane because I’ve also been obsessed with Everlane lately. I specifically loved the pattern of this blazer, because instead of being your typical gray plaid, it’s gray herringbone. I think it looks a little bit more unique than the plaid blazer that everyone has and the fit of it is perfectly oversize, without needing to size up. I’m also impressed with the quality! It’s a wool blazer, but it’s surprisingly lightweight and not itchy like I expected it to be, which means I can even wear it in the spring as well as through the fall and winter. Basically, because of this blazer, I’m becoming a blazer person and I’m so excited about it. Keep on reading to see how I styled it!
For this first outfit, I took my newest and favorite pair of mid wash Jamie jeans from Topshop and decided to pair them with this navy t-shirt from Something Navy (similar). I like that the base of this outfit is monochromatic and not your typical pairing that you would see with a gray blazer. I added my white Adidas sneakers to keep the look casual and I love how it turned out! This is the outfit I would probably wear the most often out of all three!
For the second look, I decided to keep my base outfit all black and I love the way it turned out. I wore a plain loose tank from Target and wore these super cute pants from Abercrombie. These pants have a really cute little bow at the ankle which was a pretty added detail. I love the way these fit also! For my shoes, I got these leather knot sandals from Abercrombie also and thought they were perfect for this more casual outfit.
For the last outfit, I did an all white base and this is definitely my favorite outfit that I’ve put together in a long time! I love the way the blazer looks against the white base, it’s so chic and Parisian. I paired the same tank from the previous outfit in white with a pair of distressed straight leg jeans from Abercrombie. For my shoes, I wore these white leather mules from Urban Outfitters from a few years ago, but here’s a similar pair from Everlane.
