Recreating Outfits That Princess Diana Wore

As I’m sure the same is true for tons of people recently, Princess Diana has become a true style icon for me. She’s got such a classic, effortless, and chic wardrobe and being a princess, always looked beautifully put together. I personally really love her casual style and I find that her style is still perfect for what’s popular today. So today, I wanted to challenge myself to recreate some of her iconic casual looks with pieces I have in my own closet. Keep on reading to see what I came up and the photos that inspired these looks!

Outfit #1

This first outfit is such a classic look that I would definitely put on today. She wore a white button down with tan or yellow trousers and some nude flats. I decided to wear my white relaxed silky cotton button down from Everlane, a pair of sand colored mom jeans from Topshop, and these super cute white flats from Target! This is the kind of outfit I’d wear to work once we can go back to the office.

Outfit #2

This next outfit was from a street style photo I saw of Lady Diana. She wore a tan blazer, a white shirt and jeans for a super simple and classic look. I took my (very) old BCBG beige blazer (similar) and layered it over a plain white t-shirt. I wore a super light wash pair of mom jeans from Topshop, the same white flats from Target and added a brown belt. This is another one that I think is perfect for spring and that I would wear to work once we got back!

Outfit #3

This one might be my favorite outfit! It’s so simple. It looks like she’s on vacation while wearing this all white outfit with black accessories. I wore a looser white tank from Target with my white 90’s Cheeky Straight Leg Jeans from Everlane. I added a plain black belt and my black Day Glove flats from Everlane also. It’s such a simple look, but still so pretty and put together!

Outfit #4

I’ve seen a few people recreate this outfit also so I thought I’d try my hand at it as well. Now, I didn’t have a Harvard crewneck, so I decided to use a plain white hoodie that I got on Amazon, but here’s a crewneck that you could try also. I paired it with these plain black bike shorts from Aerie, some tall white socks, and my white Fila sneakers. It’s such a cute and casual athleisure look!

Let me know which look was your favorite in the comments!
