As you’ll start to notice, I only shop at a select few stores. Mostly because I hate going to the mall to try things on and I trust that these clothes will fit me really well, but also because they make excellent quality clothing! Today, I’m sharing with you my top 8 (count ’em) favorite stores!
Everyone loves Target, tbh. But I love target specifically because they carry the Who What Wear brand. They make the best clothes for work which is where I spend most of my time anyway (at work, not Target HA). They also carry great accessories and SHOES! Let’s not forget that Target is also the home of some of the best basic t-shirts, tanks and cardigans.
2. Old Navy
Again, this is mainly for work clothes because I spend so much of my time there. I love the Pixie Pants from Old Navy, because they are comfortable and stretchy while also being work appropriate. They hit right above the ankle too which makes them good to wear with flats, heels and ankle boots! Old Navy also is great for inexpensive belts, shoes and high quality button downs!
Sticking with my work clothes theme, H&M is another top choice when it comes to buying clothes for my 9 to 5. I love to get dresses at H&M because they have a huge variety of styles but I find them all very flattering. H&M isn’t amazing quality, since it falls into the fast fashion category, but they do have some really good basic styles that integrate the cool factor that comes with fast fashion items.
When I’m looking for more dressy or special occasion piece, Revolve is definitely the way to go. They have the most amazing brands compiled onto one site and with free 2 day shipping and free returns, it’s a breeze to shop here.
5. Urban Outfitters
As summer comes to an end, you’ll soon realize my obsession with Urban Outfitters sweaters. They are literally the coziest sweaters EVER and I buy some every single year because they are THAT good. Along with their sweaters, I also love their dresses and shoes. The dresses have such cute cuts and patterns and the shoes are a little bit funky which keeps my outfits fun.
6. Steve Madden
You’ll also eventually realize that I have a thing for shoes. All kinds of shoes. Heels, boots, flats, you name it, I probably love it. Even Crocs, cause they’re undeniably comfy and surprisingly cute. Anyway, my all time favorite shoe brand is Steve Madden. I can usually always find what I’m looking for there and sometimes I find things that I didn’t even know I was looking for and it’s just fantastic. Plus I love racking up some rewards points on here!
7. American Eagle
These last two are some brands that are very near and dear to my heart because they are my two favorite places to buy jeans. Being curvy, I struggle finding jeans that fit my smaller waist and my big ole booty. The jeggings from American Eagle are super comfortable and ultra stretchy (without falling down by the end of the day) which is exactly what I look for in a pair of jeans. They come in lots of washes and lots of styles too.
If you love mom jeans, you need to get your booty over to Topshop and buy theirs. They are the best mom jeans on the market, in my opinion. They are a nice non-stretch denim that wears really well and get perfectly tight again after you wash and dry them. I also love to get some of my skinny jeans here also because the Jamie jeans are AMAZING. I especially love the way they do their knee slits (who knew knee slits could be so flattering?) and raw hem. 10/10 would recommend!!
